Lumbar SupportsAnderson Ergonomics Consulting has done considerable research and developed a portable lumbar support that is small enough to fit comfortably onto your existing chair or car seat and our clients tell us it is extremely comfortable! This helps support the natural curve of the lumbar spine, which, if unsupported, encourages hunching of the upper back and flattening of the lumbar spine. Lack of support in this area tends to result in muscle stress in the shoulders, neck and lower back. These lumbar supports are washable, come with an adjustable strap, and can be covered in vinyl for a lab environment. Costs are: for 1-5 ($35 each), 6-10 ($33 each), 11+ ($31 each).
